November/December TV Finales - The Flight Attendant (miniseries)

The Flight Attendant was meant to be a miniseries, however HBO Max were happy with season one's results, so season two will be coming in 2021*

Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian, The Flight Attendant stars Kaley Cuoco in the title role and premiered on HBO Max/Binge (in Australia) on November 26, 2020.

The eight episodes follows Cassie Bowden (Cuoco) a flight attendant who wakes up in a hotel room in Bangkok, hungover from the night before, with the dead body of a passenger from her last flight lying next to her.

Cassie is a reckless alcoholic (drinking during flights) who also spends her time between flights having sex with men (including customers she picks up during flights).

Greg Berlanti is also on board as a producer so you know it's going to be slightly camp.

The eight episodes week to week sped by due to the first three episodes airing one week, followed by two double episodes, the finally the finale aired as a solo episode this week.

A number of shows concluded this week so I will also take a look at the Station 19 season four epic fall finale. They really tackled COVID-19 and BLM. Look out for that soon.

While The Flight Attendant is no longer a miniseries, I still enjoyed this a lot. Check it out if you have access to Binge or a Foxtel product. Happy week before the fat man comes down the chimney...
