#I'mNotDavidNorMargaret, Film Reviews My Way 2015

Is a diaster film what the world needs now? After Nepal? Well maybe not but sometimes, just sometimes a disaster film really works and that is the case with SAN ANDREAS.

The Rock AKA Dwayne Johnson stars in this action pic of EPIC size. The opposite to the Rock in size, Miss Kylie Minogue also stars in a role almost as small as she is.

Aussie star Hugo Johnstone-Burt also stars as a cute distraction from the large disaster at hand. Having a little romance with Dwayne's daughter Daddario in the middle of a massive disaster in San Fran.

The world is having more and more freak weather so this film is scary that something may happen along (but not exactly) these lines.

Johnson is great as the action star of this film and as unbelievable as some of it is the effects and the size of this (on the big screen) is impressive. I also happened to see within 24 hours the great SPY film again (scroll down for last week's 5 Star review) so I remain grounded on how perfect a film can be.

Spy had something for everyone, great laughs, Rose Byrne, action, entertainment for days, whereas this film will not appeal to all. It is largely over the top check your brain at the door and go go go.

Popcorn films are great and this is one of them, San Andreas rates a solid 3 Stars, but leave you're expectations at the door and just enjoy the visuals. Oh and of course the large arms of the massive Rock.
