Girls - Season 5

The Best Series Yet.

Yes I said it, Season 5 and Hannah's madness was a compelling red hot mess and honest look into today's very busy and manic society.

Looking at imperfect relationships and friendships really is refreshing. I know the drama and breakdowns on MKR can be swift editing but Jessa and Adam's scene in episode 10, was EPIC. Nothing short of brilliant writing and acting.

I am deeply in love with this show and next year when we say goodbye to Hannah and the gang HBO will have a big hole to fill. They have also just lost Togetherness another show about serious adult relationships and Vinyl (although not rating great) is a bit of a new gem in the HBO drama crown.

Veep is also an outstanding show that HBO has to offer and on the more nerdy side Silicon Valley does have it's moments.

HBO has taken a great gamble on the raw honesty expressed in Girls and at times it's sometimes hard to watch and difficult to watch with say a partner but man, what an EPIC season. Five seasons in the show is definitely one of those shows to add to the growing list of The Golden Era of TV.

HBO has made a real name for itself with outstanding dramas and comedies over the years, lets honour some now:

Getting On
The Newsroom
Enlightened
True Blood
Big Love
Six Feet Under
Sex & The City

HBO, again you are brilliant and Lena Dunham what a visionary to create some a modern and amazing classic, loves it. Can't wait for Season Six...
