Dance the Way I Feel all the Way to the Weekend

One more sleep till my Sapphire fuelled countdown tomorrow PM but in the meantime it's time for the much talked about TV scoreboard and then the final holiday photo moments.

So it's been a HUGE week for TV this week in Australia and it has already found it's BIG first victim, Everybody Dance Now.  Which inspired me to check out an amateur dance event last night @ the Seymour Centre called NØCTURNE it was really fun to watch some young and up comers be inspired by dance and enjoy all sorts of movement.

So the Score card, SBS still continues to shit me with ad's in it's programs and hasn't really had much of interest on this year so they rate 5th on my TV radar just above the digital channels combined.

In fourth place we have the almighty ratings success of the Nine Network, yes they have rated highly with Big Brother and Underbelly is not half bad but after viewing some questionable content on ACA and the whole vibe of the station, I am rather unimpressed by Channel Nine and I believe this lucky strike of big shows is coming to an end and it is questionable that their debt will be paid off in time.

Third goes to Ten for trying so hard with Dance Now and also Puberty Blues.  This doesn't excuse their cancellation of the Circle and the horrid Breakfast show, not to mention the Project getting just more and more horrid.  Will be interesting to see how "I will Survive" goes next week, like Dance Now it's covering a lot of programming so figures crossed for Ten it's not as shit as the new Kate Ritchie show that also launches next week.  The Shire has also been shafted back to a later time slot, surprise, surprise.

Second goes to Channel Seven for one reason and one thing only, The Australian Amazing Race, great reality casting, great locations and a heap of fun.  The X Factor already looks tired despite Guy Sebastien getting better looking and doing a tune with Lupe! WTF!  I am more excited for the US X Factor featuring none other than Ms Shit Me Spears!  EXCITEMENT PLUS!

And number one for keeping it real, with no ad's no rubbish no hype, it's yes the ABC, at the Movies with David and Margaret is such a staple in my weekly TV viewing.  They have renewed Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries which was a surprise Friday night hit earlier in the year.  The Slap is still one of the best Aussie series in years and they are one station steering clear of reality bullshit coming out of Sydney's Shire.  So happy my taxes go towards keeping the ABC around.

Now to my own Amazing Race:

See y'all again tomorrow night, but in the meantime time COME ON SPRING!
