Nothing Fancy.... w/ Judith Lucy

I saw this show in it's preview/early stages and it was amazing.  Now after many months of touring it around the shop Judith decided to drop by the Concourse @ Chatswood.

I had never been to the Concert Hall @ the Concourse and it was a great experience.  The venue was super jumpin with middle aged, ABC watching ladies who enjoyed hearing a woman talk open about her very own lady garden.

Yes Judith Lucy does not shy about talking about her box or anyone elses for that matter and she embraces the fact that she is the way she is which is nice.

Her comedy style is great and she added a real large amount of audience participation into the show now it was complete.  This went on for a while and I don't know how she did it but she picked Chatswood's finest. Latecomers, teenagers, parents bring their teenagers, no one was safe.

So on the second last night of winter 2012, Judith really kept me warm with great tales and funny stories.

I must say comedy done well is a great night out and I can see Judith still being in this game for some time.  New comers come and go but Judith is simply blissful (note to the ABC please give her another series) and an extremely wise woman to boot.

That said, "Nothing Fancy" is pretty fancy in my books and so was the Concourse, Judith rates 4.25 STARS.
