So a film about male strippers huh? we have all been there before with female strippers (Showgirls & Striptease) now how does Channing Tatum and his fellow male strippers go.
Well first up I have rated the men from hottest and best performers:
1. Channing Tatum - He can dance (extremely well), he was a male stripper already and he leaves most of his body hair in check. The waxing bills for this show must have been massive:
2. Alex Pettyfer - Young Fresh n New is all I can say here
3. Adam RodrÃguez - From CSI to stripping and a hell of a lot of waxing!
4. Matt Bomer - Well hello Matt :)
5. Joe Manganiello his characters name is Big Dick Ritchie, LOL
Now after some Thursday eye candy it's onto the film, does it kick any goals? Is it as lame as the trailer kinda makes it? Well the reviews have been good, in some cases great. But for me Magic Mike wasn't a ladies film or a perv, there was some moments where there was so much boob.
I think this is a men's movie with all the drugs, partying, female nudity this movie is really quiet odd, it's a genre bending movie that just doesn't look @ male strippers, it looks at the people it effects and the ladies that follow this weird and wonderful world.
Channing Tatum continues to grow on me, I am looking forward to seeing him in the new Gi-Joe film next year.
So Magic Mike the verdict, it was slightly odd, it was a bit of fun, it's not as great as a lot of reviews I have read but for all the bums and shadows of penis's it rates a fairly solid 3 stars.
