May/June La Première - Homecoming (Season Two)

So I have actually finished the entire second season of Homecoming on Amazon Prime. So technically this isn't a May/June La Première story, but a straight up binge. Either way it did land late May/June so here we go.

Janelle Monáe joins Hong Chau and Stephan James in the second series of this Amazon series. Bobby Cannavale also has a brief guest star role whilst Joan Cusack (Shameless (US version)) joins the Monáe as a new regular.

Here is hoping for a third season as season two was only seven, thirty minute episodes. Man it was a quick and easy watch.



We meet Monáe in a boat, stranded, lost, clueless and with nothing on her, other than her phone she drops in the water.

The series moves fast with solid pacing through all seven episodes. As it's been over 12 months since I binged the first season I did forget a little of the Julia Roberts lead first season. However I was hooked after the first episode.

With the weather cooling, restrictions only being removed slowly, it's still leaving me a lot of time to smash some more series. This one was a particularly easy series to slay.
