@ the Movies 2012 - DOUBLE WEEKEND FEATURE

Well hello weekend and hello movie cinema, yes the sun is shining, yes us Sydney siders have to vote AGAIN (thanks Barry O Farrell) and yes it's time to catch up on two very different films, one in Bonjour talk and one in Oliver Stone talk.

Let's go to France first for a touching real life story which will win the softies at heart and the old folks who love a film @ the Dendy, its:

This movie is so sweet and Omar Sy is a bit of a babe in a rough trade gone good kinda way.

I really enjoyed the Intouchables and so have the French it's been a huge film over in the frog territories.  And it's easy to see why, it's watchable, well acted and oh so cute.

You can't help but have a truly moronic grin on your face similar to the below:

Yes I don't want to imagine my readers looking like the above unless your wearing Speedo's and making more awkward remarks, oh Tony.

So the film gets a really nice star rating of 4 stars and if you need something light hearted and sweet this is for you, on the other hand this isn't:

Savages by Oliver Stone with an all star BIG budget Hollywood cast is a BIG film.  It's slightly homo erotic with the two dreamy male leads, and yes Blake
Lively is right this is a film where the men get naked.

It's rough it's tough but I enjoyed the ride that I went on with Savages.  It doesn't show you anything you haven't already seen on the big screen but with a great cast and some great lines and a wig to die for worn by Salma Hayek, you need to check out this film.  On the Saturday screening I just sat through I was joined by 5 others.  So yeah it's not going to be on at the movies for much longer.

Savages is a good film John Travolta looks dreadful, you can always tell some one's age by the neck and his neck looked 500 compared to the heavily worked on face.

Savages, it is savage but it's also a lot of fun, 3 stars for an all star (pretty hot bar John T) cast.

That's it for the movies, well for now.

Chat soon lovely readers XOXO
