@ the Movies 2012 - Paranormal Activity 4

Yes today is Halloween so it only made sense I scared myself stupid with some Paranormal Activity last night.  This film is a sequel to the 2nd film and is super edge of the seat type stuff.

Again this franchise drops the gore and adds a shit load of suspense and big frights.

The new family are lovely and the technology used in this film is a far cry from the old school setting in the third film (which acted as a prequel and a "where it all begun" type film) this adds to the ever building tension and piss or shit your pants factor.

A sequel and a possible sixth film are already in the works so prepare yourself for another fright night in 2013.  Good grief, the suspense and tension seriously made me almost ill.  To add to that I barely slept a wink last night.  Yes this film stayed with me long after the credits (which you need to stay to the very end for) and good grief as my man departs town tonight I am home alone now for the rest of the week.

So is it worth the price of admission to the movies, well if you like real horror and not gore porn, YES, if you want something more horrific NO.  This franchise is great and I do in a weird way look forward to seeing the 5th film.

The last ten minutes of this film were super messed up, warning don't take small children to this.  Paranormal Activity 4 rates a scary as 4 stars.
